Lot 21:
Description
A low-profile TV unit constructed from wood panels inset within a rectangular-profile brushed metal frame. The unit features three drop-down cupboard doors, each opening to reveal a separate storage compartment. The doors are supported by concealed internal hinges and twin gas-strut stays to provide a controlled opening mechanism. The frame is designed with an open architectural base and vertical end sections that wrap over the top surface. The wood panels show a visible grain consistent with oak or wenge veneers.
Width 200cm, Depth 45cm, Height 45cm.
Condition report:
The item shows significant signs of wear and surface damage throughout. The brushed metal frame exhibits numerous deep scratches, scuffs, and abrasions, most notably on the vertical end sections and the lower front horizontal member (photos 3 and 4). The dark-stained wood side panels and top surface show multiple scuffs and areas of finish loss (photo 3). The interior of the left-hand cupboard compartment shows visible surface marking and scuffing to the base (photo 2). All mechanical stays and hinges appear present.
