Description
A ladies’ mechanical manual-wind wristwatch by Tärnan. The case is constructed from 14 carat gold, featuring a rectangular ‘tank’ style body with distinctive flared decorative lugs. The case back is struck with marks including ’14K’, ’56’, and ‘0.585’, alongside a triangular hallmark confirming the gold purity. The dial features a textured guilloché pattern with applied gold-tone dart hour markers and dauphine hands, marked ‘TÄRNAN’ and ‘INCABLOC’. The watch is fitted with a black double-corded strap with gold-tone hardware and a base metal buckle.

Condition report:
The gold case shows light surface scratching and a prominent reddish-orange oxidation stain on the lower edge of the case back. The acrylic crystal is heavily crazed and scratched across the entire surface, significantly obscuring the dial. The corded strap shows significant wear, cracking, and loss of finish. The buckle and strap hardware exhibit heavy tarnish and verdigris. The movement is untested for timekeeping accuracy.
