An 18ct Yellow Gold Locket Marked 750, Total Approx. Weight 1.5g & A 9ct Yellow Gold Cross And Pendant Earring Marked 375, Total Approx. weight 0.5g
Documentation included with the lot consists of an original Argos receipt from the Southampton S/S branch, transaction number TXN:005996, dated 26/10/98 for a ‘HEART LOCKET 18″‘ at a price of £99.00. Also present is a corresponding page from a 1998 Argos catalogue; entry number 49 identifies the item as an ’18ct gold hand engraved locket’ with catalogue number 235/9821.
Condition report:
The locket and charms appear in good used condition. Minor surface scratches and light abrasions consistent with age and wear are visible on the reverse of the locket (photo 3). The locket hinge and closure appear functional. No visible damage to the chain links or cross charms (photo 4).
