Description
This lot comprises a collection of assorted mechanical tools and sockets distributed across five containers. The collection includes a black plastic Stanley toolbox with a yellow latch containing an assortment of loose impact sockets in various large sizes, several of which show heavy oxidation.
The assortment features several organized sets in dedicated plastic cases. A red case contains a set of shallow metric impact sockets with a black phosphate finish. Each socket bears an impressed mark reading Premier CR-MO followed by the size; visible sizes include 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, and 24mm. A black plastic case contains deep metric impact sockets marked US PRO and CHROME MOLYBDENUM, with sizes including 11mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 19mm, 24mm, 27mm, 30mm, and 32mm (missing components noted in condition report).
The lot also includes a red case containing long-reach spline bit sockets, each marked CR-MO and sized M4 through M16. A smaller red case contains a set of E-Torx sockets with a polished chrome finish, with sizes marked on the case from E4 through E24.
Condition report:
The tools show varying levels of use consistent with a workshop environment. The loose sockets in the Stanley toolbox (photo 1) exhibit significant surface rust and heavy oxidation. The deep impact socket set in the black case is incomplete, with several vacant slots visible, specifically at the 12mm and 13mm positions (photo 5). The Premier shallow socket set and the specialty bit sets appear in good used condition with some grease residue and minor surface marks to the cases (photos 2, 3, and 4). The plastic cases show scuffing and general wear from storage and use.
