Description
This lot comprises a bottle of Glendalough 25-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey presented in a wooden display case with an accompanying booklet. The whiskey is a single malt matured in a triple cask process involving Bourbon, Oloroso, and Virgin Irish Oak casks. The glass decanter-style bottle features a raised silver-tone metal emblem of St. Kevin. A central metal label is embossed with GLENDALOUGH, SINGLE MALT IRISH WHISKEY, and AGED 25 YEARS. The label also bears the handwritten notations BOTTLE # 163 / 380, CASK # 2 / 3, and TREE # 1. The neck of the bottle has a black band reading NON CHILL FILTERED with a large 25. The stopper is constructed of wood and metal, embossed with the text AND APAR. The wooden presentation case is laser-etched with the producer’s name and monk logo, featuring a metal plate on the lid that reads BOURBON, OLOROSO & VIRGIN IRISH OAK AGED. The bottle contains 70cl of spirit at 46% alc./vol.
Condition report:
The bottle, labels, and metal emblems appear to be in excellent condition with no visible faults. The liquid fill level is high, appearing into the neck (photo 2). The wooden presentation case shows a small nick on the left edge of the lid (photo 3). The interior black satin lining and the accompanying booklet are intact and present no visible damage. Silica gel and oxygen absorber packets are present inside the case (photo 2).
