Description
A contemporary outdoor furniture set constructed from dark brown hand-woven poly-rattan over a metal frame. The lot comprises a three-seater sofa, a square ottoman with a matching cushion, and a square coffee table (no glass.) The upholstery consists of six removable cushions in a pale cream fabric, configured as three seat pads and three backrest pads for the sofa, and a single square pad for the ottoman. Each piece is raised on square metal feet with a polished finish. The coffee table top features a woven surface with four integrated circular pads for stability, there is no glass for the table. The weave pattern is a standard flat horizontal and vertical braid typical of modern garden lounge sets. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the frames or the textile elements.
Condition report:
The synthetic weave shows significant UV degradation and physical wear to the top surfaces of both sofa armrests, with several broken and frayed strands exposing the internal frame (photos 5 and 6). Minor scuffing and loosening of the weave are present on the corners of the coffee table and ottoman (photo 1). The cream fabric cushions exhibit light surface soiling and grey staining consistent with outdoor exposure (photo 4). The seat pads show some compression and loss of original loft. The polished metal feet have minor surface scratches and ground contact marks (photo 2).
