Description
A three-section aluminium combination ladder designed for use as an extension ladder, freestanding step ladder, or stairwell ladder. The item features aluminium construction with black plastic end caps, rubberised feet, and integrated grey fabric safety straps. A detachable aluminium stabiliser bar is included.
The ladder bears several adhesive labels and safety marks. A black rectangular label is printed with a yellow triangle and the text Wickes UTILITY 200 MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE LOAD: 150kg DIN EN131, stating it was manufactured by SGB Youngman for Wickes, 120-138 Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2QB, and includes the TÜV Rheinland and GS certification marks. A white technical label reads Utility 200 (Wickes) 1.96-4.20m with the serial number SER NO B. 002307. A larger red-bordered instructional label titled UTILITY 200 SECTION COMBINATION LADDER provides usage diagrams for working heights of 4.2m and 3.5m, alongside safety text stating DO NOT USE LADDER UNLESS STAY BAR IS LOCKED IN POSITION and listing a secondary serial number 7027721. A red safety warning is applied to a specific rung reading STOP – LAST CLIMBING RUNG. The stabiliser bar requires fixings for the bottom foot bar which are not present.

Condition report:
The ladder is in used trade condition with significant splatters of white paint and plaster across the stiles and rungs (photo 1). Two rungs have been reinforced with grey duct tape (photo 1). The aluminium frame shows surface scuffing and scratches consistent with site use. The fabric safety straps are intact but soiled. The stabiliser bar is present but detached; the mounting bolts and nuts required for the bottom foot bar are missing (photo 1).
