Description
A two seater upholstered sofa featuring rolled arms and a full-length valance skirt. The piece is upholstered in a cream damask fabric with a repeating floral and foliate scroll pattern, finished with matching fabric piping to the cushions and armrests. The sofa includes two loose seat cushions and two loose back cushions. An adhesive paper tag is attached to the upholstery reading UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE LAURA ASHLEY HOME.
Condition report:
Heavy soiling and dark staining are visible to the lower valance skirt, particularly along the bottom edges and the right-hand corner (photo 4). Faint surface marks and small spots of discolouration are present on the seat cushions (photo 2). The back cushions appear compressed and have lost some of their original loft through use (photo 1). The fabric shows general wear and pilling consistent with domestic use.
