Description
A Pearl Export Series five-piece acoustic drum kit featuring wood shells with a deep wine red wrap finish. The set comprises a bass drum, two rack-mounted toms, and a floor tom with three adjustable legs. The snare drum is a Pearl SS chrome-over-steel model with a clear Remo batter head. Each drum shell bears a rectangular black adhesive badge with a silver-toned script Pearl logo inside an oval, above the text EXPORT SERIES and vertical text reading MADE IN TAIWAN. The bass drum is fitted with a Pearl P-100 chain-drive pedal featuring a white felt beater. The hardware package includes two straight cymbal stands, one boom cymbal stand, and a hi-hat stand with a Pearl branded footboard. The kit is accompanied by three unbranded brass alloy cymbals and a pair of wooden drumsticks. Most drum heads are Remo branded, and the bass drum resonant head features a large white Pearl logo.
Condition report:
The resonant bass drum head is severely damaged with a large irregular tear and several strips of grey duct tape applied across the surface (photo 5). The felt beater on the bass drum pedal shows significant wear and flattening (photo 7). There is visible oxidation and surface pitting on the chrome hoops, tension bolts, and lugs, particularly evident on the floor tom (photo 2). The tripod bases and adjustment bolts of the hardware stands show surface rust and oxidation (photo 8). All three cymbals exhibit a heavy patina with surface oxidation and multiple fingerprint marks (photo 8). The shell wrap finishes show surface dust and light scuffing throughout (photo 1).
