Lot 35:
Description
A pair of Polo Ralph Lauren sunglasses with a high-gloss black acetate frame and dark green tinted lenses. The frames feature a rectangular profile with contrasting green tips at the interior ends of the earpieces. The internal left temple arm is printed with the model and size specifications: PH 4171 5001/71 57 [square symbol] 16 145 3N. The internal right temple arm is printed with the text: RALPH LAUREN T CE. A raised metallic logo reading POLO is applied to the exterior of both temple arms, and the upper outer corner of the left lens is etched with the word POLO.
The sunglasses are accompanied by their original presentation materials. These include a dark navy textured outer box with gold lettering reading RALPH LAUREN, a black hard-shell case with debossed lettering reading POLO RALPH LAUREN, and a manufacturer’s literature booklet printed with POLO RALPH LAUREN.
Condition report:
The sunglasses are in very good, used condition. Minor surface scratches are visible on the lenses and acetate frames, consistent with light wear (photos 1 and 2). The presentation box and hard case show minor storage wear to the edges and corners (photo 1). No significant chips, cracks, or structural damage are observed.
