Description

A carton containing a collection of assorted vinyl records, primarily focused on UK New Wave, Post-Punk, and Synth-Pop from the late 1970s and 1980s, alongside contemporary pressings. The Jam is represented by a run of studio albums on the Polydor label including In The City, All Mod Cons, Sound Affects, The Gift, the live album Dig The New Breed, the compilation Snap!, and a 12 inch single for Town Called Malice (POSPX 400).

The collection includes a significant group of Heaven 17 releases on the Virgin and B.E.F. labels. A copy of The Luxury Gap appears to bear three signatures in black ink on the front cover reading ‘Glenn Gregory’, ‘Martyn Ware’, and ‘Ian Craig Marsh’. Other titles include How Men Are, Pleasure One, and a translucent orange vinyl reissue of Bigger Than America. A 12 inch single for Captured/Unseen bears a black marker signature reading ‘Martyn Ware’.

Contemporary pressings include My Chemical Romance (The Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge), Gary Numan (Intruder double LP), Adele (30), and a Liam Gallagher etched white vinyl 12 inch single. Electronic and soul titles feature New Order (Blue Monday 1988), Soft Cell, The Human League, and foundational hip-hop 12 inch singles on the Sugar Hill label including Rapper’s Delight (SHL 101) and The Message (SHL 117). A Gary Numan The Fury Tour ’85 official photo book is also present etc.
