Description

A carton containing a collection of assorted OO gauge model railway locomotives, passenger coaches, and wagons. The lot includes a British Rail Class 35 Hymek diesel locomotive in blue livery with the double-arrow logo and the number D7063. Also present is an LMS Class 3F 0-6-0T Jinty steam locomotive in maroon livery, numbered 16440, housed in a red window box printed with Hornby Railways and Made in England by Hornby Hobbies. A black 0-6-0 steam tank locomotive is included, numbered 47606, featuring the British Railways cycling lion crest.

The collection includes assorted rolling stock such as a blue and grey Inter-City Sleeper coach numbered 2510, a maroon and cream restaurant car numbered M2001, and a blue Royal Mail coach. Goods wagons comprise a green Prime Pork van, a blue Birds Eye Fish Fingers van, a grey Esso tank wagon, a black Beatties promotional van in a Hornby box, and a red Pugh & Co Coal Wagon London 380 in a white Special Edition box. A red industrial diesel shunter body marked DOCK AUTHORITY is present with a separate motorised chassis. The items are constructed from plastic and die-cast metal.


Condition report:

The items are in played-with condition. There is significant paint flaking and loss to the blue/grey Inter-City sleeper coach (photo 1, 2). The red dock shunter is in two pieces with the body detached from the chassis (photo 1). The LMS Jinty locomotive box shows shelf wear, creasing, and tearing to the cardboard (photo 2). Several wagons exhibit minor scuffs and missing small parts including couplings and buffers (photo 1). Mechanical functions and the Royal Mail coach operating door are untested.
