Lot 24:
Description
A petrol powered stand up scooter featuring a red tubular metal frame, an aluminium diamond plate deck, and a padded black saddle mounted on an adjustable seat post. The unit is powered by a small displacement two-stroke engine with a pull-start ignition and a red anodised performance air filter. Control is provided by a chrome-finish folding handlebar stem fitted with a twist-grip throttle and an integrated yellow kill-switch button. The braking system consists of front and rear cable-actuated disc brakes with red callipers.
The lot includes a yellow plastic bin containing assorted spares comprising two pneumatic tyres, an inner tube, a black plastic engine shroud, and a pair of black rubber handlebar grips. The fuel system utilises translucent yellow lines and a plastic tank secured by a black metal guard. The drive is transmitted via a chain to the rear wheel.
Condition report:
The scooter requires attention and shows signs of significant use. There are visible patches of surface rust on the rear swingarm (photo 3), front fork assembly (photo 4), and various bolts and fixings. The red paintwork is chipped and worn across the frame. The pull-start cord is in a permanently extended position (photo 2), and the mechanical operational status of the two-stroke engine is unknown. The fuel lines appear aged and discoloured. A hole is visible in the handlebar stem clamp where a bolt or locking pin is absent (photo 6). The tyres currently fitted show wear and surface cracking, while the spares in the bin are soiled with dirt in the treads (photo 7). Pitting is present on the chrome handlebar surface, and the deck shows general scratches and wear.
