Description
A hardcover edition of The Big Book of Breasts, edited by Dian Hanson and published by Taschen. This large-format art book explores the history and aesthetics of the female form through vintage photography, featuring content ranging from early 20th-century erotica to mid-century glamour and pin-up art. The front cover and spine are printed with the title The Big Book of Breasts and the editor name Dian Hanson, with the publisher name TASCHEN appearing at the base of the front cover and the spine. The dust jacket features a photographic wrap-around image of a torso in black lace lingerie against a blue gradient background. Internally, the book is a photographic compendium produced by offset lithography on heavy paper stock.
Condition report:
The book is in used condition. The dust jacket shows visible wear, including small tears and creasing at the head and tail of the spine (photo 2). There is further shelf wear and minor bumping to the corners of the dust jacket and binding (photo 2). The surface of the jacket shows minor scuffing and light scratches consistent with handling. The text block edge appears clean with no significant staining or foxing visible from the exterior.
