Description
A contemporary nursery furniture set comprising a chest of three drawers and a removable changing tray topper. The unit is constructed from oak with a natural light finish and features six grey felt or leather loop drawer pulls. The dresser frame uses visible dovetail joints at the top corners. An adhesive manufacturer’s label is affixed to the underside, printed ‘Linea by Leander® Changing unit’ and ‘Manufacturer Leander A/S, Georg Jensens vej 8, 8600 Silkeborg, Denmark, leander.com’. The label includes a checked box for ‘Oak 700563’ and a production date grid with marks for ‘Apr’ and ‘2022’. It also bears safety information stating compliance with ‘EN 12221-1:2008+A1:2013’ and an intended use for children ‘up to max. 15 kg’. The unit is supported by four tapered oak legs.
Condition report:
The unit shows visible signs of wear and surface damage. A significant area of surface abrasion and scuffing to the wood grain is present on the top surface of the dresser base, visible only when the topper is removed (photo 5). The changing topper exhibits a separation and structural crack at the internal joint between the side rail and the base board (photo 6). There is a small surface chip to one of the dovetail joints on the top right-hand side of the frame (photo 4). Minor edge wear and small chips to the finish are visible on the drawer faces and frame joints (photos 1 and 2). Changing topper missing brackets.
