Description
A three panel bench constructed from solid teak with a honey-toned finish. The seat features three inset panels of hand-woven natural cane in a square mesh pattern. The frame is supported by four distinctive V-shaped tapered legs. The seat rails exhibit a slight downward taper towards the centre, and the corners of the seat frame are joined with exposed finger joints. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the piece.

Condition report:
The bench is in good structural condition with the caning remaining intact and taut across all three panels (photo 1). There are visible surface abrasions and small nicks to the lower sections of the wooden legs, particularly near the feet (photo 2). White scuff marks are present on the exterior faces of the legs (photo 3). The wood finish shows minor superficial scratches and age-related wear to the frame edges and corners (photo 3).
