Description
A carton containing a group of assorted UK retail catalogues and softcover telephone directories, spanning the years 2005 to 2019. The lot includes a large assortment of Argos catalogues with various spine titles such as Spring/Summer 2005 featuring the text Over 2000 prices dropped!, Spring/Summer 2007, and two copies of Autumn/Winter 2007. Later editions include Spring/Summer 2012 with the text Over 11,000 prices frozen or lowered, Spring/Summer 2015 with text reading GO ARGOS, and Autumn/Winter 2019. Also included are three large Argos issues: Autumn/Winter 2013, Living for Less, and The Big One.
The collection further contains a Woolworths The Big Red Book for Summer 07 featuring a blue toy tractor on the cover, a Littlewoods.com directory with a yellow spine, and two editions of the South East London Yellow Pages dated 2005/06 and 2010/11. The items are all perfect-bound softcover publications providing a historical record of British high-street pricing and consumer goods.
