Description
This lot comprises a short-sleeved Yorkshire County Cricket Club player-issue jersey in a polo style, manufactured by Fearnley Cricket. The garment is constructed from a white technical textured fabric and features navy blue piping details. The left chest displays an embroidered Yorkshire Rose crest in black, white, and yellow beneath a gold crown, with the player cap number 399 embroidered below in navy blue. The right chest is decorated with three stylized black vertical shapes. The jersey is signed by multiple players in black ink across the front panel.
The neck label is a navy fabric tag featuring a gold crown over a white and black Yorkshire rose, with printed text reading EXCLUSIVE OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE BY FEARNLEY CRICKET and an adjacent XL size tab. The front placket features a small black fabric tab reading FEARNLEY, and the buttons are embossed with FEARNLEY. A rubberised patch at the lower hem reads F-TEC PRO. Sponsorship branding includes a large teal rectangular patch on the chest reading Powells in black text with gold outlines, with smaller matching patches applied to the collar and left sleeve. Condition report:
The jersey shows evidence of significant professional use. There is extensive heavy yellow and brown staining to the lower front (photo 6) and the lower back (photo 4). Similar perspiration and field staining is visible on both sleeves (photo 4) and around the collar area (photo 5). The ink signatures exhibit some minor bleeding into the fabric weave but remains largely legible. No other visible faults are present.
