Description
Two cartons containing 36 copies of the vinyl LP Understanding Electricity by the British band Official Secrets Act. Released in 2009 by One Little Indian Ltd., each record is a 12-inch 33 ⅓ RPM pressing. The card sleeves feature a gloss finish with a black hype sticker on the front containing critical quotes from NME, The Guardian, and Zane Lowe. The reverse of the jackets bears the catalogue number TPLP 962DMM at the top left and a barcode at the bottom left reading 5 016958 107215. Copyright information on the reverse states ℗ 2009 One Little Indian Ltd. and © 2009 One Little Indian Ltd. alongside the label website www.indian.co.uk. The tracklist for Side A comprises Mainstream, So Tomorrow, The Girl From The BBC, Little Birds, Hold The Line, and A Head For Herod. Side B includes Momentary Sanctuary, Bloodsport, Victoria, December, and Under The Flightpath. The catalogue number indicates a Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) pressing.
Condition report:
The vinyl media appears unplayed and remains in new condition. The outer sleeves show varying degrees of storage and shelf wear throughout the lot, including corner dings (photo 1), edge rubbing, and light creasing to the cardstock (photo 2) consistent with being stored in tightly packed cartons. The shipping cartons themselves are heavily worn with significant tearing and structural damage (photo 1).
