This lot comprises 6 cartons containing an assortment of vinyl records and music media, spanning approximately four decades of popular music, classical, and light entertainment. The collection includes a mix of 12 inch LPs and 7 inch singles, alongside a multi-disc CD box set.
Legible 12 inch LPs include The Blow Monkeys – The Blow Monkeys (RCA/BMG, PL 74013); Adge Cutler & The Wurzels – Carry On Cutler! (Columbia/EMI), recorded at Webbington Country Club; James Last – Paradise (Polydor) bearing a yellow price sticker reading WHSMITH £5-69; and a double LP original cast recording of Miss Saigon (Geffen). Other titles feature James Galway – Mozart: A Little Night Music (RCA); The World of Tchaikovsky (Decca SPA 112); and various budget label compilations including Hot Hits 5 (Music for Pleasure) and 30 Smash Hits of the War Years Vol 2 (Warwick Records).
The 7 inch singles include contemporary and pop titles such as Enigma – Sadness Part 1 (Virgin, 1990); Enya – Out of the Blue (WEA 247 608-7); Bad Manners – Can Can / Armchair Disco (Magnet MAG 190); and Shakin’ Stevens – Green Door (Epic). Also present is a reggae single by Pato Banton – ‘Allo Tosh (Don Christie Records DCR 1 A) and Slade – My Oh My (RCA 373). The lot further includes a Montreux Jazz Festival 25th Anniversary 4 CD box set etc.
