Description
A four-slot electric toaster featuring a polished chrome-finished body with rounded ends. The appliance is fitted with a manual ejector lever terminating in two black spherical knobs, a rotary timer dial marked 0 to 4, a red neon indicator light, and a rocker switch for selecting heating elements marked with I, II, and IIII symbols. The side panels feature vertical venting slots. An embossed name on the front and right side panels reads Dualit. A white adhesive label on the base bears black printed text reading Model: 42174, Serial No: 2001.14/18/D, Volts :230a.c., Watts:2200, Dualit Community Trade Mark No.48728, 16 – 28 Penarth Street London SE15 1TU, Tel: +44 (0)20 7639 5271 Fax: +44 (0)20 7639 0074, and Made in England, alongside a CE mark. The unit is fitted with a standard UK 3-pin plug.
Condition report:
The exterior shows visible surface scratching, scuffing, and minor pitting consistent with regular use (photos 1 and 2). There are visible crumbs and carbon buildup within the slots and on the heating elements (photo 1). The electrical cord shows minor surface dirt (photo 1). The underside label has a small brown stain at the bottom edge (photo 3). Functionality has not been tested.
