Description
This lot comprises an assortment of alcoholic beverages in glass bottles including liqueurs, fortified wine, and sparkling perry. The group features three bottles of cherry brandy: one bottle from De Kuyper (50cl, 20% vol) labelled Extra Fine and produced by K.W.S. De Kuyper & Zoon BV in Schiedam, Holland; and two bottles from Bols, one featuring an embossed shoulder crest and a red and gold label, and another with embossed lettering reading LOUIS BOLS on the shoulder and a gold foil neck wrap.
Also included is a bottle of Cockburn’s Fine Ruby Port produced by Cockburn Smithes & Cia. in Oporto, Portugal, featuring a paper tax stamp on the neck with the serial 534710 and an embossed seal on the glass base dated 1815. The final item is a bottle of Astini Gold Spumante (75cl, 5.5% vol), described on the label as a sparkling perry produced and bottled in the UK by Halewood Vintners Ltd. All bottles retain their original factory seals and labels.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall good condition with all factory seals intact and no evidence of leakage. The labels show minor signs of shelf wear and light scuffing consistent with storage. The gold foil on the neck of one Bols bottle shows light peeling at the base. Fill levels are consistent, appearing at mid-to-high neck across the assortment.
