Description
A collection of assorted Royal Doulton Bunnykins figurines occupying three cartons. The lot comprises three hand-painted earthenware figures from the Bunnykins series. Tino The Trixstar features a rabbit circus performer holding a green and black striped hoop, with a bear perched on his shoulder and a dalmatian at his feet. The base is printed with HAND MADE AND HAND DECORATED, Bunnykins by ROYAL DOULTON, EXCLUSIVELY FOR EVENTS 2005, and TINO THE TRIXSTAR. A yellow adhesive label is present reading 6 52383 47312 6 BUTLSC 16349 Tino The Trixstar MADE IN CHINA. Seaman depicts a rabbit mariner in a green coat and pink cravat holding a lantern. The underside bears a mark for DOULTON AND COMPANY and Bunnykins, with a yellow barcode label reading 6 52383 41763 2 BUFISC 15390 Seaman MADE IN CHINA. Easter Parade DB 292 shows a rabbit dressed in a chick suit with a basket of eggs. The base is marked HAND MADE AND HAND DECORATED, THE OCCASIONS COLLECTION, EASTER PARADE, BUNNYKINS by Royal Doulton, DB 292, and © 2003 ROYAL DOULTON. Each figure is accompanied by an original red presentation box and promotional literature.
Condition report:
Fine surface crazing is visible to the glaze on the underside of the Tino The Trixstar base (photo 3). The adhesive barcode label on the base of the Seaman figure shows wear and surface loss (photo 5). The figurines and presentation boxes appear in good order with no other visible faults (photo 1).
