Description
This lot comprises an assortment of dessert and fortified wines from Australian, Canadian, and Italian regions. The first is a 375ml bottle of Yalumba Museum Reserve Antique Fortified Liqueur Wine from South Eastern Australia, produced with an alcohol volume of 19.0% and featuring a fill level into the neck. The front label consists of a burgundy and cream adhesive panel with a printed octagonal cartouche reading MUSEUM RESERVE, and the back label includes the barcode 9311789010540 and an adhesive importer label for Negociants U.K. Ltd. The second is a 375ml bottle of Pelee Island Winery 2007 Vidal Icewine from Ontario, Canada, with an alcohol volume of 8.5% and a fill level at the top shoulder. The front label features a gold foil central panel and the back label carries barcode 777081310457 and an importer notice for Hallgarten Druitt. The third is a 500ml bottle of Bertani 2015 Recioto della Valpolicella Valpantena, an Italian dessert wine with an alcohol volume of 13% and a fill level into the neck. The bronze-coloured label is printed with the producer name and denomination, and the reverse bears barcode 8008326140167.
Condition report:
The Pelee Island Winery bottle shows a surface tear and lifting to the upper edge of the gold foil panel on the front label (photo 3). Minor surface scuffing and light edge wear are visible on the Yalumba front label (photo 4) and a small scuff is present at the bottom left edge of the Bertani label (photo 2). All bottles show minor surface dust to the glass (photos 1, 5). Fill levels are good, with the Yalumba and Bertani into the neck and the Pelee Island at the top shoulder.
