Description
This lot comprises a collection of assorted bottles of California rosé wine. The bottles are labelled 770 Miles California 2/0 White Zinfandel 2/2. Each clear glass bottle features a front adhesive label with a stylized map of California and a back adhesive label printed in English and French. The back labels read: 770 MILES, WINE OF CALIFORNIA, VIN DE CALIFORNIE, White Zinfandel, ROSÉ WINE / VIN ROSÉ, PRODUCT OF USA / PRODUIT DES USA. The text further states the wine was BOTTLED BY / EMBOUTEILLÉ PAR GCF AT / À 67290 PETERSBACH – FRANCE and imported FOR UK: BY WTO LTD, PO BOX 650, BS34 9LH UK. The alcohol content is stated as 10,5% VOL. and each bottle contains 75cl. The barcodes are numbered 3 263280 102414. An ink-jetted batch code L31005403 16:56 is visible on the lower portion of the glass.
Condition report:
The collection is in excellent condition. The black foil capsules are all intact and show no signs of tampering (photo 1). The adhesive labels are clean, fully adhered, and free from tearing or staining (photos 1, 2, and 3). Fill levels are consistent across the group, appearing at high shoulder / base of neck (photo 1). No chips or cracks are visible to the glass.
