This lot comprises a bottle of Hine cognac in a presentation carton. The neck label features the royal coat of arms and text reading BY APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II SUPPLIERS OF COGNAC THOMAS HINE & C° JARNAC. The main label is printed HINE MAISON FONDÉE EN 1763 RARE THE ORIGINAL COGNAC FINE CHAMPAGNE APPELLATION COGNAC FINE CHAMPAGNE CONTRÔLÉE. The reverse label includes importer details for Berry Bros & Rudd, London, and a pink HM Revenue & Customs duty stamp for the UK market, numbered A50000001258. Production details on the reverse read COGNAC THOMAS HINE & C°, 16200 JARNAC, FRANCE HINE.COM 70cl e Product of France 40% vol. The glass base is embossed with a script signature L Hine and a small square mark.
Condition report:
The bottle is sealed with the original wooden cap and cork (photo 1). The fill level is high into the neck (photo 1). All labels remain clean and fully attached (photos 1 and 2). The presentation carton exhibits minor shelf wear to the corners and edges (photo 1).
