Description
This lot comprises two hats. The first is a straw Panama-style hat featuring a natural woven body and a light blue grosgrain ribbon band with matching brim binding. A gold-tone metal script charm attached to the ribbon bow reads Gucci. The interior sweatband is fitted with a black fabric label reading G U C C I and MADE IN ITALY, alongside a size tag L 58. The hat is accompanied by a circular brown storage box with a textured GG monogram pattern, the lid marked GUCCI Firenze 1921. An adhesive label on the base of the box reads 370788 GIE6G 9565 OS and CAPPELLO DONNA PAGLIA PANAMA B. A white care booklet titled GUCCI La cura del prodotto is included. The second item is a bucket hat constructed from tan suede leather with a black fabric lining. An internal black leather tag reads rag & bone NEW YORK. The hat retains its original card stock retail tags, including a black tag with gold-tone rag & bone NEW YORK lettering and a NET-A-PORTER tag.
Condition report:
The straw hat appears in unused condition and retains the original interior tissue paper (photo 4). The accompanying storage box shows minor shelf wear and surface scuffing to the lid (photo 2). The suede bucket hat is in new condition with retail tags still attached (photo 7).
