Description
This lot comprises a 750ml bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label Brut Champagne, presented in an orange cardboard presentation box. The green glass bottle is sealed with a gold-tone foil capsule featuring script text reading Veuve Clicquot. An orange neck band is present, bearing a royal coat of arms and text reading BY APPOINTMENT TO H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II PURVEYORS OF CHAMPAGNE VEUVE CLICQUOT PONSARDIN REIMS FRANCE. The main adhesive label reads CHAMPAGNE, shows a shield device with an anchor and VCP, and is printed with Veuve Clicquot, MAISON FONDÉE EN 1772, BRUT, and À REIMS FRANCE. A lower margin label states 750ml PRODUCT OF FRANCE ELABORÉ PAR VEUVE CLICQUOT PONSARDIN A REIMS – FRANCE – NM 549-004 PRODUCT OF FRANCE 12% vol. The orange cardboard box displays a red script signature and a panel repeating the main label text. The fill level is into the neck.
Condition report:
The bottle remains factory sealed with the foil capsule intact and undamaged (photo 1). The main label is clean without visible tears or staining (photo 1). The presentation box shows minor shelf wear and a scuff mark to the lower-left front corner (photo 1). The fill level is standard, observed well into the neck (photo 1).
