Description
This lot comprises a collection of assorted costume jewellery bangles and bracelets contained within a single pink plastic crate. The collection features a diverse range of styles including chunky mid-20th-century retro-style plastic cuffs, modern minimalist metal bangles, and bohemian-style textured cuffs.
The inventory consists of items manufactured from various materials such as Lucite, plastic, gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, faux pearls, and rhinestones. Some pieces feature enamelled finishes or composite materials with wood-like textures. Notable items include a large smooth turquoise-coloured plastic cuff, a purple square-profile plastic bangle, and several flexible and rigid bangles encrusted with faux pearls and set with rhinestones. The assortment also includes textured gold-tone cuffs with geometric patterns and silver-tone mesh and twisted-wire bracelets. A portion of the items remain within clear plastic packaging.
Condition report:
The items are in varied, used condition. Significant paint chipping and loss is visible on a red-enamelled bangle located towards the top left (photo 1). Surface scratching, rubbing, and minor dulling of metallic finishes are present across the collection, consistent with bulk storage and handling. Most items appear structurally intact, and decorative stones appear largely present, although a detailed individual inspection for missing small rhinestones was not performed.
