Description
This lot comprises a single bottle of cognac in its original presentation box. The 1-litre bottle of Rémy Martin VSOP Fine Champagne Cognac is constructed from frosted dark green glass and features a central circular medallion in black and gold depicting a centaur with a spear. The main rectangular label is printed in gold-tone ink on a black and gold background, with text reading RÉMY MARTIN, FINE CHAMPAGNE COGNAC, and V·S·O·P. Smaller text to the margins reads FONDEE EN 1724, PRODUCE OF FRANCE, 1Le, CLS REMY COINTREAU – COGNAC FRANCE, and 40% vol. A matching neck label displays the centaur device above the classification. The bottle is sealed with an original black foil capsule. The cognac is accompanied by its original red cardboard presentation box, which features a printed image of the bottle and gold-tone decorative bordering.
Condition report:
The bottle is in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks to the glass (photo 1). The fill level is at the high shoulder (photo 1). The main and neck labels are clean and well-adhered, with only minor shelf wear and light scuffing visible at the edges (photo 2). The black foil capsule is intact and shows no signs of tampering (photo 1). The red presentation box shows visible signs of age and wear, including scuffing to the edges, light surface creasing, and bumping at the corners (photo 1).
