Description
This lot comprises a single 750ml bottle of champagne.
The bottle is produced by Laurent-Perrier in Tours-sur-Marne, France. The main label identifies the contents as BRUT L-P and CHAMPAGNE, noting the house was founded DEPUIS 1812 SINCE. A shoulder label features the Prince of Wales’s feathers crest above the text BY APPOINTMENT TO H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES PURVEYORS OF CHAMPAGNE CHAMPAGNE LAURENT-PERRIER. The neck is finished with a gold-coloured foil embossed with MAISON FONDÉE EN 1812 and a printed interlocking LP monogram. The neck band is printed Laurent-Perrier. The base of the main label states ÉLABORÉ PAR LAURENT-PERRIER – TOURS-SUR-MARNE – FRANCE, BRUT PRODUCE OF FRANCE, and the code NM-235-001. The stated volume is 750ml with an alcohol content of 12% vol.
Condition report:
The bottle is sealed and unopened. The fill level is into the high neck. The main body label shows light signs of shelf wear and minor scuffing around the lower border. The neck foil is intact but displays minor creasing and some light abrasions. The glass is free of significant chips or cracks.
