Description
This lot comprises a rectangular wall mirror of Belgian manufacture. The item features a gilded moulded frame decorated with foliate and laurel leaf appliqués at the corners and the mid-points of the longer edges. The frame incorporates inset bevelled marginal mirror glass panels separated by gilded divisions. A white adhesive label is affixed to the reverse and is printed with the number 2390.322 and reads Made in Belgium. The label further includes the text 187×102 cm 33,6 kg.

Condition report:
The mirror glass plates appear clear and intact with no visible chips, cracks, or silvering loss (photo 1). The gilded frame shows minor surface wear and small areas of gilding loss on the outer edges where the underlying light-coloured substrate is exposed (photo 2). There is a light accumulation of surface dust and minor scuffing consistent with handling and previous use.
