Description
A set of fourteen folding dining chairs. The chairs are constructed from a hardwood with a reddish-brown stained finish and feature a slat-back design with five vertical slats. Each frame incorporates an H-pattern stretcher for stability and a mechanism that allows the chair to fold. The drop-in seats are finished in a cream-coloured textured fabric.
Condition report:
The set is in well-used condition. Multiple chairs show significant finish loss, scuffing, and impact marks on the top rails of the backrests, exposing the lighter wood beneath (photo 2). General scuffs and scratches are visible across the legs and stretchers of the chairs (photo 1). The cream fabric upholstery exhibits varying degrees of surface soiling and dinginess consistent with regular use (photo 3).
