Description
This lot comprises two contemporary household storage units finished in light wood-effect laminates. The tall slimline shoe cabinet features three forward-tilting compartments with silver-tone metal bow handles, finished in a light beech-effect laminate. The low three-drawer chest features a light oak-effect frame contrasting with white drawer fronts, each fitted with white plastic angled pull handles. Both items are constructed from laminate-faced composite wood panels, typical of modern flat-pack furniture. The shoe cabinet utilizes a gravity-tilt mechanism for footwear storage, while the chest provides general-purpose storage across three equal-depth drawers. The units are finished with circular screw-head covers on the side panels.
Condition report:
The shoe cabinet has a significant chip to the top right front corner where the laminate has been removed, exposing the underlying white composite material (photo 4). There are minor scuffs to the side panels near the base of the shoe cabinet (photo 1). The chest of drawers shows minor signs of domestic wear and light scuffing to the edges (photo 2).
