Description
This lot comprises two stainless steel multi-tools. The first is a Leatherman Wave+ model, bearing an impressed mark reading LEATHERMAN® WAVE+ to the handle and LEATHERMAN to the plier head. The handles feature incised ruler markings in both inches and centimetres. The tool includes needlenose pliers with replaceable wire cutters, outside-accessible locking blades, and a bit driver. The second item is a Leatherman Sidekick model, with an impressed mark reading LEATHERMAN® Sidekick® to the handle and LEATHERMAN to the plier head. This tool is fitted with spring-action needlenose pliers, an outside-accessible blade, an integrated lanyard ring, and a removable pocket clip.
Condition report:
Both tools show signs of heavy field use. The Wave+ exhibits scattered spots of surface oxidation and pitting to the handle surfaces and blade spine (photo 1). The Sidekick shows significant brown rust staining and oxidation, particularly around the pivot points, screw heads, and plier jaws (photo 2). Both items have scratches and scuffs throughout the stainless steel finish. Mechanical functionality has not been tested.
