Description
This lot comprises a pair of folding fishing chairs. Each chair is constructed with a tubular metal frame finished in an olive green powder coating. The upholstery features high-density padded cushions with a central tan fleece-effect panel and dark green sueded-fabric borders. Each chair incorporates an adjustable reclining mechanism operated by side tension wheels and includes padded armrests. The support system is comprised of four telescopic legs fitted with swivelling mud feet for stability on uneven terrain. A black rubberised rectangular patch is applied to each headrest, featuring an orange rectangle containing the word FOX in black next to a fox head silhouette, followed by the letters FX in silver. Below this, the words SUPER DELUXE and RECLINER are printed in white.
Condition report:
Both chairs show signs of significant field use consistent with outdoor angling. The lower legs and swivelling mud feet are heavily coated with dried mud and organic debris (photo 1). The olive green metal frames show scattered scuffs, scratches, and minor paint chips to the powder coating (photo 3). The fleece upholstery panels exhibit general pilling and light staining from use (photo 2). The rubberised identification patches show signs of delamination and fraying at the edges (photo 4). All adjustment knobs and telescopic leg mechanisms are present, though they have not been tested for full range of motion.
