Description
This lot comprises a stereo integrated amplifier housed in a metal chassis with a grey-finished front panel. The unit is marked to the top left with a printed NAD logo within a square, followed by the text Stereo Integrated Amplifier C 352. A stylized PD logo is present at the bottom right corner. The front panel features four rotary control knobs for Bass, Treble, Balance, and Volume, as well as push-buttons for Power, Tone Defeat, and source selection. These selections include Tape 1 Monitor, Tape 2, Tuner, Aux, Video, CD, and Disc. The video button is currently broken and does not operate as intended. A 6.35mm headphone jack and an IR sensor are situated on the left side.
The rear panel carries a printed white label reading NAD ELECTRONICS INTERNATIONAL / MODEL C 352 STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER / POWER RATING 230V 50Hz 1.0A ~ / CUSTOM MANUFACTURED TO NAD SPECIFICATIONS / IN THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA. An adhesive serial number label is marked H53C35216133. Connectivity consists of seven pairs of RCA line-level inputs, two pairs of tape outputs, two pairs of pre-amplifier outputs, and one pair of main amplifier inputs. The factory metal U-jumpers are present, connecting the Pre Out 2 and Main In jacks. The unit is fitted with colour-coded speaker binding posts and a manual Soft Clipping toggle switch.
Condition report:
The amplifier is in good cosmetic condition with minor signs of prior use, including light surface dust and small scuffs along the top edges of the faceplate (photo 1). The unit is pictured powered on with the amber power LED illuminated (photo 1). The Video source selector button is physically broken and appears recessed into the faceplate (photo 2). All other controls, including the rotary knobs and remaining push-buttons, appear intact and correctly seated. The rear RCA terminals and speaker binding posts show no signs of significant wear or corrosion (photo 3). Full audio performance testing has not been carried out.
