Description

A 7 foot mustard yellow resin tinted surfboard, identified as the FM or Functional Mid-length model, hand-shaped by Ryan Lovelace. The board features a rounded nose, a pulled-in tail, and a four-box fin setup compatible with the FCS II system. On the deck is a white rectangular laminate label reading Ryan Lovelace surf | craft santa barbara, ca. The underside features a white circular foam patch with hand-written pencil inscriptions reading . 2 0 2 1 ., 100% HANDSHAPED, 7 foot FM, DOWN THE LINE, and V, followed by a stylized signature.

The lot includes a comprehensive collection of surfing hardware. A black padded Creatures of Leisure board bag is provided, featuring a logo and text reading GENUINE DIAMOND-TECH FABRIC. Also included is a set of Ocean + Earth RAP RAX portable carry racks housed in a black mesh storage bag. A collection of surfboard fins accompanies the board, including FCS II Mick Fanning blue and white sets, FCS II DHD black and grey sets, FCS II Channel Islands honeycomb sets, and NVS Apex Series translucent green quad fins. A pair of blue Futures-base twin fins is included, though these are for a different fin box system than that installed on the board. The fin collection is rounded out by various other FCS-compatible thruster and twin sets in orange, yellow, and grey. Completing the equipment is a Dakine leg rope with a padded ankle cuff and a red waterproof roll-top dry bag bearing the Dakine logo.

Length: 7 feet.

Condition report:

The surfboard is in used condition with visible surfboard wax residue across the deck. There are superficial scuffs and light scratches consistent with regular use. The circular foam patch on the underside shows light aesthetic yellowing and discolouration. The board bag, portable racks, and leg rope show signs of light wear but remain fully functional. All fin sets appear to be in good structural condition.
