Description
This lot comprises a boxed TAG Heuer 2000 Series Professional 200 Meters quartz wristwatch. The timepiece features a brushed stainless steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel and an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a folding safety clasp. The blue dial is configured with luminous dot and baton hour markers, an Arabic 12, Mercedes-style luminous hands, a central sweep seconds hand, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.
The dial is printed with a green and red TAG HEUER shield logo, professional, 200 METERS, and SWISS MADE at the bottom edge. The screw-down case back bears an engraved shield logo and is inscribed WATERRESISTANT 200 m. TESTED, STAINLESS STEEL, SWISS MADE, SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL, SWISS, SINCE 1860, WK1213-0, and serial number TH7025. The bracelet end links are stamped 3052 and the clasp is embossed with a shield logo.
The watch is presented with its original outer cardboard box, a circular black zippered leatherette travel pouch, an instruction manual for quartz watches, and a guarantee booklet. The guarantee card is stamped by Goldsmiths, 33 Butcher Row, Salisbury, dated 24/3/4, and lists the matching model number WK1213-0 and serial number TH7025.
Condition report:
The watch exhibits significant signs of wear throughout the metal surfaces. Numerous scratches, scuffs, and small nicks are visible on the stainless steel case and rotating bezel (photo 1 and 2). The integrated bracelet and folding clasp show extensive surface scratching and wear from regular use (photo 4). The sapphire crystal has some minor surface marks (photo 2). The interior leatherette travel pouch is in poor condition with the surface material peeling and deteriorating (photo 5 and 7). The watch is currently untested for timekeeping and may require a new battery.
