Description
A collection of assorted twelve-inch (12″) vinyl records, primarily consisting of UK Drum and Bass and Jungle releases dating from circa 1999 to 2008. The lot is notable for a high concentration of D.J. promotional copies, test pressings, and limited editions from influential electronic music labels. Featured labels include Metalheadz (Rufige Kru / Monkey Boy Remixes, METHLP010B, limited edition of 1500), RAM Records (Ram Trilogy – Evolution / Mindscan, RAMM 26), and Playaz/Ganja Recordings (Original Sin – Decibel, Taxman and Heist – Equinox). Other represented labels include Foundation Music, V Records, C.I.A., Front Line Records, and Zombie Recordings. Notable tracks include a white label remix of Shy FX’s Bambaata and a yellow label promo of Lily Allen’s Smile (Digital Soundboy Dub Mix) remixed by Shy FX. Several labels feature handwritten D.J. cues or owner markings, including the characters N, c in blue or black ink. One disc is a handwritten test press for Digital Era – Midnight Slapper.
