Description
This collection of hand-blown art glass, presented in a carton containing multiple decorative objects, features various animal figurines and organic forms. A clear glass figurine, depicting a figure with an emerald green pointed hat and matching feet, bears a red and gold oval label to the base identifying it as Murano glass made in Italy. The assortment includes a pair of matching roosters decorated with a multicoloured frit or macchia technique in shades of orange, yellow, blue, and red, featuring applied red combs and wattles, yellow beaks, and cobalt blue tails. Also present is a hand-blown orca sculpture executed in black and white glass with a clear glass tail, and a turtle figurine with a body of blue, yellow, and gold-flecked frit and dark cobalt blue flippers. Completing the group is a tall, free-form organic sculpture in smoky olive green glass transitioning to an amber base, featuring a tapering vertical spire and a coiled spiral element.
Condition report:
All items appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips or cracks. The Murano label on the small figurine shows minor wear and fading. Occasional small air bubbles or seeds are present within the glass, notably in the clear sections of the orca and the base of the organic sculpture, which are inherent to the hand-blown manufacturing process.
