Description
A collection of contemporary wildlife-themed artworks featuring limited edition prints and mixed-media pieces. The lot includes two photorealistic limited edition reproduction prints by Collin Bogle, likely giclée or offset lithographs. The first, titled Into the Light, depicts a white tiger in water and is numbered in pencil 212/350 with a printed signature. The second Bogle print features a close-up of an orange tiger with blue eyes and is numbered in pencil 84/221- with a printed signature. Both Bogle works are presented in off-white card mounts. The collection also contains a large framed photographic print titled Megaptera by photographer Bob Talbot, showing a humpback whale fluke. A print of a black panther is signed N Lyles S. Additionally, the group includes a watercolour on canvas depicting a sloth and mixed-media animal portraits of a lion and a zebra, housed in wide silver-toned frames.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition for display. The mounts of the Collin Bogle prints exhibit minor handling indentations and light wear at the outer edges. The frames of the other pieces show occasional light surface scuffs and minor marks consistent with handling. The canvases and printed surfaces appear generally well-preserved.
