Description
A large nickel-plated cold-cast sculpture of an African bull elephant by Richard Cooper Studio. Designed by Michael Simpson, this figurine depicts the animal in a trumpeting pose with its trunk raised and tusks extended. The sculpture features a reflective metallic nickel finish over a highly textured surface intended to mimic realistic elephant hide. The item is housed in its original manufacturer presentation box which bears the gold-printed Richard Cooper Studio logo and a model number label for 301NP Elephant. A retail tag from the department store Fenwick remains attached to the tail.
Condition report:
The figurine is in excellent condition with no visible chips, losses, or wear to the metallic finish. The tusks and trunk are intact. The original box is included and shows minor shelf wear and a small tear to the upper closure flap.
