Description
An assortment of solid hardwood furniture including a small cabinet, two stools or stands, and a U-shaped side table. The cabinet is designed in a traditional Far Eastern Tansu style, featuring one cupboard door and four drawers. It is embellished with heavy dark metal hardware, including decorative corner brackets, butterfly hinges, and bail handles with escutcheons. The two rustic stools or stands are of varying heights and feature plank-top construction with exposed round peg joinery and dark-filled decorative grooves. The third side table is of U-shaped silhouette, crafted from highly figured wood grain consistent with Sheesham. Construction throughout the group consists of solid hardwood with visible mortise and tenon joinery. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition with some signs of domestic use. The cabinet shows visible scuffing and finish loss along the front-right vertical edge, with minor surface scratches to the top and sides. The smallest stool exhibits uneven wear and fading to the finish on the top surface. The U-shaped table has light surface scratches and minor indentations consistent with age and use. All items appear structurally sound.
