Description
A collection comprising 19 copies of the 12-inch vinyl LP record titled Silkidrangar Sessions by the Icelandic electronic group Samaris. Published by One Little Indian Records, the album features live studio recordings of selected tracks from their Silkidrangar album, recorded at Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavík, Iceland, on the 8th and 9th of October 2014. The sleeve design includes a black and white glitch-art graphic on the front and a minimalist white reverse with black typography. The tracklist for Side A consists of intro, ég vildi fegin, lífsins ölgusjór, and þótt hann rigni. Side B includes hrafninn, brennur stjarna, and nótt (one for the girls). The band members credited are Áslaug Rún Magnúsdóttir (clarinet, percussion), Jófríður Ákadóttir (vocals, organ), and Þórður Kári Steinþórsson (programming, synths). Additional musicians listed include Konráð Bragason, Tumi Árnason, Veronique Jacques, and Bjargmundur Ingi Kjartansson. The recordings were engineered by Paul Evans and mixed by Þórður Kári Steinþórsson and Paul Evans, with mastering by Mandy Parnell at Black Saloon Studios. The back cover features the barcode 5016958998332 and the One Little Indian logo at the bottom left.
