The collection primarily consists of live recording cassette tape packs and a large quantity of promotional club flyers. Included are two major multi-cassette sets from the promoter One Nation: the World Domination 8-tape pack recorded live on 5th July 2003 at Brixton Academy, and the Drum and Bass Academy 8-pack recorded live on 13th November 2004 at Carling Academy Brixton. These sets feature prominent artists of the era including Andy C, Mampi Swift, Zinc, Nicky Blackmarket, Randall, and Friction. An assortment of loose cassettes includes live recordings from various promoters such as Helter Skelter, Slammin Vinyl, Accelerated Culture, Telepathy, and Hysteria. Notable recordings include the Helter Skelter Easter Bank Holiday Extravaganza 1996, MC Skibadees World Cup Blazer, and recordings from The Sanctuary and Bristol Academy. The ephemera comprises over 100 promotional flyers for a variety of events and brands including Ravenation, Breakin Science, RAM Records, and Movement. The entire collection is housed within a clear plastic storage container.
Condition report:
Cassettes: The media appear visually good with intact tape reels, though all are unverified for playback. Several tape packs are incomplete or contain mismatched cassettes from different events of the same era. Loose cassettes are missing their original individual cases and show light surface dust and wear. Cases and Sleeves: The large black plastic tape cases show surface scuffing and some cracking to the clear outer plastic sleeves. Paper inserts show light creasing and edge wear. Flyers: Generally good condition; the majority appear flat with minor corner wear or light creasing consistent with age and handling in a club environment.
