Description
A carton containing thirteen music CD box sets featuring archival live performances and radio broadcasts from various rock and pop artists. The collection consists of New Old Stock (NOS) and includes the following:
Three copies of The Beatles ‘Beatles. Tokyo’ published by AVA Editions. Each set contains two CDs featuring two live shows, a 36-page hardback book with liner notes and archival imagery, and an exclusive DVD with interviews. These sets feature red Japanese-style OBI strips with text transcribed as ビートルズ 東京 (Beatles Tokyo).
One copy of The Rolling Stones ‘The Second Year of the Bridges to Babylon Tour / Tour ’98’, a large-format 13-CD box set. It bears a yellow circular sticker indicating it is a limited edition, numbered 470/500.
Two titles by The Grateful Dead produced by Roxvox, comprising ‘New Years Eve 1990 Oakland Coliseum Arena’ and ‘Live at the Fox Theatre, December 1971’.
Seven titles from the Sound Stage ‘Broadcast Collection’ series, featuring archival radio broadcast recordings. These include one copy of Tom Petty ’77-’93, one copy of Alice Cooper 1971-1995, three copies of Anthrax 1987-1993, and two copies of Blondie ’77-’79.
Condition report:
Media: Mint (M). Sleeves: Mint (M) to Near Mint (NM). All thirteen box sets remain factory-sealed in their original shrink wrap. The Rolling Stones box shows minor shelf wear, with light scuffing and small tears to the shrink wrap on the left-hand edge of the front cover. All other sets appear in original condition with tight and intact shrink wrap.
