Description
This lot comprises a diverse collection of costume and artisan jewellery. Significant items include a gold-tone fashion wristwatch featuring a bezel and dial encrusted with crystals, with the D&G logo rendered in pink stones on the face. The collection features several examples of Maasai-style beadwork, notably a large crescent-shaped collar necklace and multiple circular pendants with intricate geometric patterns in red, yellow, blue, green, and orange seed beads. Other items include various necklaces and bracelets constructed from carved wooden beads, bone or horn beads with incised decoration, and glass and plastic beads in various shapes and sizes. The lot also contains several metal bangles and chains in gold and silver tones, alongside beaded hoop earrings.
Condition report:
The items are presented loose within a carton and are currently tangled. Visible surface wear, tarnish, and minor scratches are present on the metal components and larger beads. The mechanical condition of the D&G wristwatch is unknown as the movement is untested. There is a possibility of loose beads or missing stones within the bulk lot. General sorting and cleaning will be required.
