Description
A carton containing a large collection of seven-inch vinyl singles, predominantly consisting of picture discs and various coloured vinyl pressings. The collection spans multiple genres including Rock, Heavy Metal, New Wave, and Pop, primarily from the 1970s through to the early 1990s. Notable artists and titles visible include The Who (It is Hard), Thin Lizzy (Hollywood), Blondie, U2, Phil Collins (Thru These Walls and You Can not Hurry Love), Genesis, and Gary Numan (Heart/Shame on red vinyl). The lot features a significant selection of Heavy Metal and Rock acts including Saxon, Whitesnake, Samson, and Tygers of Pan Tang (Life of Crime on white vinyl). Other notable pressings include Tin Machine (pink vinyl), Generation X (yellow vinyl), Bad Manners (clear vinyl), and Dr Feelgood (brown vinyl). Further artists represented include Ultravox, O.M.D., Spandau Ballet, The Kinks, The Animals, Huey Lewis and the News, and Toyah. Visible record labels include RAK, Atlantic, Chrysalis, MCA, and IRS. The majority of the discs are housed in clear protective PVC outer sleeves supported by white card backing inserts.
Condition report:
Media: The discs appear to be in Very Good to Excellent visual condition. The surfaces of the picture discs and coloured vinyl pressings are clean with no significant scratches or abrasions visible through the sleeves. Sleeves: The clear PVC outer sleeves show typical minor age-related clouding and light creasing but have protected the contents well. Card inserts are clean and well-preserved.
