Description
This lot comprises an assortment of contemporary alternative and indie rock vinyl LPs, primarily released on the United Kingdom label One Little Indian Records. The collection includes seven copies of Jesse Malin’s Outsiders, eight copies of Official Secrets Act’s Understanding Electricity, and six copies of Stubborn Heart’s self-titled album.
Jesse Malin – Outsiders (Catalogue No: TPLP1310): A release on Velvet Elk Records and One Little Indian. The tracklist includes Outsiders, San Francisco, Here is the Situation, Society Sally, Edward Hopper (Somewhere in the Night), Whitestone City Limits, Stay Free, The Hustlers, All Bets Are Off, In the Summer, and You Know It is Dark When Atheists Start To Pray. The sleeve features contact sheet-style photography.
Official Secrets Act – Understanding Electricity (Catalogue No: TPLP 962DMM): This 2009 release features Direct Metal Mastering (DMM). Tracks on Side A include Mainstream, So Tomorrow, The Girl From The BBC, Little Birds, Hold The Line, and A Head For Herod. Side B includes Momentary Sanctuary, Bloodsport, Victoria, December, and Under The Flightpath. The front sleeve includes a hype sticker with press quotes from NME, The Guardian, and Zane Lowe.
Stubborn Heart – Stubborn Heart (Catalogue No: TPLP1175): A 2012 release on One Little Indian Records. Side A tracks include Penetrate, Better Than This, Two Times A Maybe, Interpol, and It is Not That Easy. Side B features Starting Block, Blow, Head On, To Catch A Spark, and Need Someone. The sleeve displays abstract artwork with minimalist design on the reverse.
Condition report:
The Jesse Malin and Stubborn Heart LPs are factory sealed in original shrink-wrap. The media is presumed Mint and the sleeves are in Mint condition. The Official Secrets Act LPs are unsealed; the media is in Near Mint condition, appearing unplayed or very lightly handled. The sleeves are in Excellent condition, showing light shelf wear to the corners while retaining the original hype stickers.
